Lauren has worked at En Route for 17 years, throughout that time she has had some fantastic opportunities and has entered and won a number of industry industry awards.
At 17 Lauren won a place on The Fellowship for British Hairdressing Project X which enabled her to train in London and travel around the country every month for a whole year with some of our industry greats. Lauren has also won L’Oreal Young Colourist of the Year and won a place to be a part of the Schwarzkopf Elite Leap Team, she has a Colour with Honours Degree and is trained in NEU Male Hair Systems which provides non surgical hair replacement.
In 2017 Lauren volunteered for 3 weeks in India with Schwarzkopf Shaping Futures, a charity who teaches disadvantaged young people the skills of hairdressing so they can support themselves and change their lives. She is also a team leader for Haircuts4Homeless in Wakefield. She helps recruit hairdressers as volunteers to give up their free time and give vulnerable people in Wakefield free haircuts which promotes self esteem and confidence.
